| A Great Community in Which to Live and Learn
|
|
| Lamar offers rural family living at its best. Solid family values still prevail
in this community, with numerous events and activities scheduled throughout the year. Whether
you enjoy outdoor activities, community concerts, or a relaxed shopping atmosphere, our friendly community welcomes you.

| EDUCATION
|
| Our quality schools and progressive teachers encourage lifelong learning. High school students are
afforded opportunities for apprenticeships and to earn dual credit through
their high schools and Lamar Community College. Using cutting
edge technology, students at the College may obtain certificates of study
and a variety of associate degrees for transfer or employment. LCC
partners with Colorado four-year colleges and universities for seamless
transfer into bachelor's degree programs; many have local completion
options. |
